Apply to purchase a brand new home with an affordable mortgage. Currently, we have one home available in Perry.

We are a non-profit housing ministry that sells new or renovated houses with affordable financing to qualified low-income families in Dallas County. We serve those with 30-60% of the area median income. Our Partner Families are selected based on criteria that does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, creed, color, gender, religion, physical or mental disability, national origin, or family status. We serve people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion.

Need

Families must earn between 30-60% of the area’s median income and live in cost-burdened or substandard housing.

Ability to Pay

Families who partner with Dallas County purchase their home from Habitat with an affordable mortgage.

Willingness to Partner

Families complete 300-400 hours of sweat equity helping build their home or other homes and complete a financial education course.
